Tenjiku Sedge, Carex phyllocephala 'Sparkler', grows 1-2’. Zone 7b-10.
This upright evergreen has leaves that are whorled at the tips. Tony Avent describes as “a grove of miniature variegated palm trees.” This sedge is very showy and does well in part to full shade. If grown in sun it will need more water. This sedge will light up a shady corner. It is also great for cut flower arrangements. Hardy to 10 degrees.
