Hubrecht's Blue Stars, Amsonia hubrechtii, grows 3' tall. Zones 5-9. Attractive, thread-like foliage has a unique golden color in fall on this southern native. Forms clusters of small light blue star-shaped flowers. After flowering, shear back to 6"-8'' for additional fullness. Requires well-drained soil.
