ALOE ..... Aloe vera

Starting at: $5.00

Aloe vera has medicinal and ornamental uses. Grows 8-10”. A clump-forming, suckering succulent producing basal rosettes of lance-shaped fleshy bright green leaves with toothed margins. It is commonly cultivated as a potted plant and the clear gel contained in the leaf is a remarkably effective healer of wounds and burns. No kitchen should be without it! Aloe is best grown in containers. While it thrives outdoors in full sun in the summer—it must be brought indoors for winter. It grows quite well in a sunny window location. Under-pot and keep dry in winter.
